Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Zinnia Magellan Rose Outline Stamp Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in Total Prizes)

Hello, crafty friends! Welcome to my blog! Thank you, Terri Koszler, for sending everyone over! For full details of this hop, please check out the Altenew Blog.

MAKE A WISH

STEPS:

  1. Stamp the background using the Dotted Diamond Background Stamp and Distress inks.
  2. Stamp again using Versamark Ink and emboss with Clear embossing powder.
  3. Color the background using Distress oxide inks.
  4. Stamp the image of the PAF Zinnia Magellan Rose on White cardstock. Stamp it again on the colored background using Obsidian Ink.
  5. Trim the colored background and distress the edges.
  6. Stamp the sentiment from the Sentiment Strips stamp set on black cardstock and emboss with Pure White embossing powder.
  7. Assemble the card with foam squares and adhesive.
TIP: By embossing the dotted diamond background image first before coloring the background, the embossed design will resist the oxide inks used to colored the background.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

STEPS:

  1. Stamp and emboss the images on vellum.
  2. Color the flowers at the back of the vellum using B815, B714, B802 Artist markers.
  3. Adhere on top of the Woodgrain Powder Cardstock.
  4. Die cut the center using the Nesting Frames die and pop it up with foam sheets.
  5. Assemble the card.
