Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Gerbera Revolution Outline Stamp Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in Total Prizes)

Welcome to my blog, everyone!!! I’m sure you were all blown away by the amazing and talented Jaycee Gaspar. I’m a huge fan of his work! Thanks so much, Jaycee, for sending everybody over. For the complete details of this hop, make sure to drop by the Altenew blog.

HOPE THIS BRIGHTENS YOUR DAY

PAINT A FLOWER: GERBERA REVOLUTION STAMP SET

STEPS:

  1. Using a Misti, stamp the imagefrom the Paint-a-Flower: Gerbera Revolution twice– one on a card front and second on watercolor paper.
  2. Color the image using the Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers and add details using colored pencils.
  3. Cut up the colored image.
  4. Adhere parts of the colored images using foam equares.
  5. Stamp and emboss the sentiment using Pure White Crisp Embossing powder.
  6. Adhere to the card front using foam squares and adhesive.

This card is so out of my style and color choice! I’m not sure whether you will like it or not. ๐Ÿ˜ฐI hope you do! But I wanted to try something different– use colors that I do not normally gravitate to (yellows for me) and try something I have not done before. What techniques do you want to try out, and what colors don’t you like? I’m curious! Let me know in the comment section below.

This card got my eye before all the others, Nenette, and I couldn’t wait to see it on the blog list! Just love how you’ve done the fractured spotlight. Fantastic technique and I excited to try it. Thank you for inspiration.

I love this selective coloring technique, you did an amazing job Nenette, I would have not guessed this is out of your comfort zone๐Ÿคฏ. For me the colors that I tend to avoid are greens, browns, and pinks ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ I struggle with the shading of these hues and the blending, so I try to stay clear of them โ˜บ๏ธ There are so many techniques I still want to try and some I would love to revisit, right now ghost stamping comes to mind. Thanks for the inspiration! Have a wonderful weekend!

What a cool style! I have never seen a card like this! I would have a challenge cutting up such beautifully colored gerbera daisies! I really love the color combo too! I tend to stay away from reds and browns. Keep experimenting!

This is a fun and still elegant design. I am curious why you did not color the leaves on the top layer.
